Steven Blair, CPA, MTX

Stephen Blair is a certified public accountant with Birnbrey, Minsk, Minsk & Perling. He supports clients with more than 30 years of experience in accounting and tax matters. His areas of expertise include tax planning for individuals, businesses, and trusts; tax research; and income tax compliance (general, multistate, and expatriate).

Stephen’s career spans roles in both private business and in the public accounting sector, which gives him insight into the work of the companies he advises. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Georgia Society of CPAs. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and went on to earn his Master of Taxation degree from Georgia State University.

Outside of his work with BMM&P, Stephen is an accomplished musician. He plays acoustic and electric bass in the Georgia Perimeter College Jazz Ensemble, performs with other groups in the metro area, and previously spent years playing rock music in Texas. He is also a repository of popular music trivia.
